IntraDay Forecasts GasDay's IntraDay Forecasts (IDF) option adds additional data sets and models needed to support multiple forecast periods in a single day. This is useful for LDCs that generate an additional forecast mid- or late-afternoon for a final nomination period. If previous-day flow information is available at that time it is included in the forecast to improve accuracy. This option supports up to a total of eight separate daily forecast periods. |
Additional Weather Inputs Additional Weather Inputs Option (AWI) adds supplementary weather data to the GasDay forecasting model. The inclusion of this additional weather information can increase the accuracy of GasDay daily demand forecasts by as much as 30% over the base GasDay models. |
